The final taping I participated in for Julie's House Hunter's shoot was on the morning of Saturday, April 2nd. As soon as filming wrapped I headed home to meet Kyle and our first guest, Jen Brady Hall :)
We had amazing weather on Saturday, so we went for a walk, got some goodies for a picnic in the park, then headed to Montmartre for the afternoon. Jen was such a trooper and was able to stay awake all day after her long overseas flight. She even made it out for a couple beers that evening after all the walking we did.
Sunday we visited the Rodin museum. Highly recommended! We definitely plan to go back on a sunny day to see the lovely gardens that surround the museum.
Next, we checked out Les Invalides, Pont Alexander, Grand Palais, Petit Palais and Arc de Triomphe.

Now for the big news. For dinner we wanted to take Jen to one of our favorite restaurants. It's right around the corner, called Cafe Constant. The food was wonderful, of course.
Cod with fresh farmers market veggies, sea bass with mashed sweet potatoes, and beef and carrot stew. YUM!
We couldn't leave without dessert.
Enough about us being fatties... While we waited for our entrees to come out, I heard the lady next to me ask our server why there were paparazzi outside. I couldn't quite hear, but I really thought she said it was because of Matthew McConaughey. HUH?? Could this be it? I had been quietly wondering who my first celebrity sighting would be here - I knew it would only be a matter of time before it happened.
I asked Kyle if he would go upstairs (where the rest of the seating is) and see if he could spot Matthew. Kyle expressed that the last thing on earth he wanted to do was pretend to use the restroom so he could hunt for Matthew McConaughey. Being the great guy he is, he did it anyway. "Confirmed" was what he returned with!
Minutes later a man stumbled down the stairs to get a drink from the bar. Who could it be? Ryan Phillipe. Yep, Matt and Ryan dining together at our local fave.
The next day our friend Ellen sent us a link for a gossip page... Please notice the guy in green in the background with a lump of food in his cheek like a squirrel (pic #38). Kyle is an internet sensation!
